The vision of Kamp Khalil is to preserve the legacy of the Muslim-American through education. The mission of Kamp Khalil is to develop life skills among youth in the areas of personal development, economics, leadership, and health. Kamp Khalil, Inc. is a 501C3 organization that was founded in 2003 by Hanif M. and Baiyina H. Khalil. “The institutions and events that were the most effective and had the greatest influence on our development were those that educated us, allowed us to develop our leadership skills, provided opportunities for us to learn the value of teamwork, and maintained our connection with our community. We work to provide these opportunities for the next generation.” Each summer we facilitate interactive workshops for youth ages 12 to 18. We also have hours of activities, such as canoeing, talent showcase, sport competitions, Khalil Khaos, and much more! With support from businesses, organizations, and individuals over the past 7 years, we have served youth from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
