I’m Gregory “Goat” Walker the owner of G & D Designz and I have been designing shirts since 1983.  The very first shirt that I designed was my Florida A & M University Marching “100” Shirt and after that, I realized I wanted my shirts to be unique and not wear the same thing everyone else wore.  Afterwards, I collaborated with an artist and later we began various design creations that were actually hand painted onto the shirts.  It was at that point, I began to transform slogans, phrases, and popular sayings into actual T-shirt designs. I realized I had something special and unique when I appeared in traffic court in 1985 and the judge was so amazed by one of the shirts that I was wearing that he stopped the proceedings to acknowledge the uniqueness of the shirt.  Not only did the judge stop the proceedings, but he had me to model the t-shirt so everyone in the courtroom could see and read what was on the shirt as well.  At that point, I knew I could turn this into a business.   I don’t know if it was the shirt or not, but the judge ruled in my favor.  That was the first time one of my shirts actually got me out of trouble.
